الْغُـرَابُ وَالْحيَّـةُ
حْكَى أَنَّ غراباً اشتدَّ به الجوعُ في يومٍ من الأيامِ، ولم يجدْ مِنَ الطعامِ ما يَسُدُّ بهِ جَوْعَتَهُ. ولما بلغَ به اليأسُ مبلغَهُ رأى حيةً نائمةً في الظلِ، فَغَرَّتْهُ نفسُه بالانْقضاضِ عليها. وما أَنْ أَنْشَبَ فيها مخالبَهُ وطارَ بها حتى أفاقتِ الْحيَّةُ من سُباتها، وأدارتْ رأسَها إلى الغرابِ ولدغتْه في مقتلٍ.
